Effect of change of residence within thirty (30)

If a registered voter moves such voter's residence from this state after the thirtieth day before an election for electors for president and vice president and for that reason does not satisfy the registration requirements of such voter's new residence for that election, the voter continues to be a registered voter but only for electors for president and vice president in that election in the voting precinct in which the voter was last registered. The voter may vote either in person or by absentee ballot. Acts 1972, ch. 740, § 1; T.C.A., § 2-203.
