(a) It is unlawful for a person, partnership, association or corporation to own or operate a service or facility that provides mental health, alcohol and drug abuse prevention and/or treatment services, or personal support services within the meaning of this title without having obtained a license as required by this part. (b) A violation of this requirement is a Class B misdemeanor. (c) Each day of operation without a license constitutes a separate offense. Amended by 2024 Tenn. Acts, ch. 688,s 42, eff. 7/1/2024.
