Outside of the office, Ms. Vasilak has volunteered with the Indiana Mock Trial Competition as a judge and helping run the regaional competition in Hammond. She also served as a member of the Committee for National Mock Trial Competition held in Indianapolis in 2013. Ms. Vasilak also spends her time volunteering in her community. She has served on various committees and boards. She is active in her children’s schools and with the PTC. She coaches basketball.
