I am a former Public Defender who received his training at the office throughout law school, and for approximately two years after I graduated. I am one of the attorneys who actually cares about what happens to his clients. When I say actually care... it means that I am going to fight for my clients' objecties, while informing them as to what a reasonable solution to their issue is.. I am so passionate about what happens to other people because as a black man who grew up in Compton/Long Beach California, I understand what discrimination looks like. I know what it feels like to get the short end of the stick and be pre-judged by those who are supposed to be in your corner.. So I fight for those who's voices go unacknowledged because of those pre-judgments. I will continue to do what is right and fair for those afflicted by this type of treatment because to do otherwise would mean that I would be someone else. And I like being me.
