Ms. Wood has both trial and arbitration experience, as well as extensive experience settling cases through mediation and other methods of alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Wood has significant experience in trial with automobile cases.  Her specialties include truck, automobile, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, premises liability, and construction accidents. Ms. Wood has negotiated numerous six and seven figure settlements for her clients.. Ms. Wood is an active member of the State Bar of California and is licensed to practice law in California state courts as well as the United States District Court, Central District of California.. Ms. Wood is actively involved in many local and statewide attorney organizations. Ms. Wood currently serves on the State Bar’s California Young Lawyers Association (CYLA) Board of Directors and will retain her seat on the board until 2018. She is the Secretary of the Ventura County Barristers and is a board member as well. While in law school, Ms. Wood also clerked at Cooley Manion Jones Hake Kurowski, a former San Francisco toxic tort firm that specialized in asbestos defense. Ms. Wood began her personal injury career when she interned for plaintiff's personal injury litigation firm, Rahman Law, which specializes in automobile accidents, bicycle accidents, pedestrian accidents and dog bites.. Lauren Wood received her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. While in law school, Ms. Wood also studied at the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense in Paris, France..
