After completing his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University, Sam continued his education to graduate with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2003. Prior to his entry into private practice, Sam served as a student law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Pennsylvania. In addition to practicing law, Sam has served as an adjunct professor of law at the Liberty University School of Law, where he taught Commercial Real Estate Transactions, Land Use and Zoning, and Lawyering Skills. Sam also serves as Chairman of the Board for Freedom 4/24.
