Matthew G. Karr, Esq., is the founder and principal attorney of The Heritage Law Center, LLC—an estate planning, elder law and probate firm in Woburn, MA. In addition to providing these services in Massachusetts, he's also licensed to practice estate planning in New Hampshire. He opened his law firm in 2011 because he wanted to bring back personal relationships to the estate planning and elder law process. Each family has unique goals, and therefore unique plans are needed to achieve those goals. So, he gets to know each client and then works with them to create plans tailored to protect them, their assets, and their families. He shares his expert knowledge in a way that’s easy to understand, and he offers compassionate guidance and experienced advice so clients can make the best decisions for themselves and their families. He believes in building lifelong relationships with every client, so he’s there to help make sure that documents continue to meet a client’s needs even as laws change and major life events occur. The firm bills on a flat-fee basis, agreed to in advance, so there are never any surprises and clients don’t have to hesitate to call. Matthew is a graduate of Boston College School of Law. He has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers® Magazine six years in a row and a Five Star Financial Services Professional in Boston Magazine. Matthew serves as a pro bono advisor to community senior centers, regularly writes and speaks on family estate planning issues, including as a faculty member for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc.
