He is the author of a leading article on trade secrets law in Tennessee, and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs on intellectual property and information technology law. Following law school, he served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Julia S. Gibbons, formerly Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
