After his service with the District Attorney's Office, Travis spent three years at a respected Murfreesboro law firm. There, Travis gained a wide variety of experience in family law and estate planning.. Travis completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee. While attending the University of Tennessee, he worked as a student manager with the national championship football program. He received his Juris Doctorate degree at the Appalachian School of Law, where he was a Faculty Scholar and member of the Moot Court Board.. Travis is actively involved in Rutherford County, and formerly served as a Diplomat for the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce. Travis is a Past-President of the University of Tennessee Rutherford County Alumni Chapter, he is a member of Kappa Alpha Order, and enjoys participating in local philanthropic events. Additionally, he is a member of the Rutherford/Cannon County Bar Association, and the Tennessee Bar Association.. Travis is married to Caroline Burks Lampley and they have three sons.
