My law practice focuses on serving families who have children with disabilities and the organizations that serve them. I assist families who have children with disabilities with estate planning issues that are unique to the disability community. These issues include guardianship and use of a supplemental or special needs trust to provide for the future of an individual who has a disability who may need to rely upon government benefits such as S.S.I. or Medical Assistance. I also help families with questions about health insurance coverage and appeals. For organization that serve the disability community, I offer general business counseling as well as expertise in issues related to insurance, medical assistance and public policy. I am a registered lobbyist and focus on legislative issues related to health care, autism and developmental disabilities.
