I am a partner with the Columbus firm of Bricker & Eckler LLP, a full-service law firm committed to providing clients with excellent service and value. As part of the firm’s Labor & Employment Law group, I counsel and defend management clients in numerous industries, including IT, health care, and professional services, on various labor and employment issues.. I also serve as the City Attorney for Grandview Heights. My experiences working in a corporate law department, on Capitol Hill, and in private practice have helped me gain unique insights into the needs of the employer community and to better serve them. As a result, I enjoy not only helping clients solve their legal problems with practical solutions, but also providing customized education on a wide range of subjects that can limit needless and costly lawsuits. This includes in-house training on subjects like workplace harassment, proper personnel documentation, wage-and-hour compliance, OSHA and safety. In addition to onsite training, I am often asked to speak or write on various developments in employment law..
