Ms. Yunus relocated to San Diego and currently works for a large family law firm in downtown, focusing her practice on litigation, custody matters and dissolution.. Ms. Yunus earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from California State University Fullerton where she was the communications intern for the National Women's Political Caucus in Washington, D.C. Through this internship, Ms. Yunus attended various political fundraisers, meetings with foreign ambassadors, and other important political events. Additionally, Ms. Yunus, who is bilingual in English-Farsi, interned for two years for a Middle Eastern television station as their English language international new anchor, on a weekly, worldwide broadcast.. Ms. Yunus was a recipient of the Dean's academic scholarship at Whittier Law School, and also interned at Whittier's Children's Rights Clinic, where she represented indigent, minor clients with special needs. She was also an active member of Whittier's Student Bar Association.
