Linda Liang & Associates is dedicated to the practice of all aspects of US immigration law, with a focus onbusiness-related and employment-based US immigration law, such as H1B, L Visa and EB5 Visa. We provide legal consultation and representation in petitioning for non-immigrant visa categories, employment-based immigrant categories and family-based immigration. Since our establishment, we have successfully handled a great number of cases of various kinds, including immigration, international and domestic business transactions, contract arbitration, import and export regulation, and trademark and copyright registration.. There are five reasons our clients choose us among all other law firms: Reason No. 1 Cases are guaranteed to be handled by experienced attorneys. Unlike many other firms that are using paralegals or legal assistants to actually handle cases, we believe there is a lot at stake in every client’s case. We believe that every case is unique. Within our firm only attorneys are allowed to provide legal evaluation and representation. Within our firm, only lawyers will talk to clients about their cases, either over the phone or in person, not paralegals. Reason No. 2 We communicate. One of the most common clients’ complaints is that their lawyers don’t either answer or return their calls. Proudly, it is not the case with our firm. The attorneys are required to explain to clients in detail the status of the case. Clients’ calls are to be returned within 24 hours. We work for you, period. Reason No. 3 Our lawyers know the business. Businesses need lawyers who understand their business needs to provide effective service. Our lawyers have years of legal representations experience. In addition to being licensed in California, Attorney Liang also holds Master Degree of Business Administration from University of Utah. She also worked for years for multi-national companies as in house counsel so or years of she is capable of thinking in businesses owners’ shoes. That’s why we have been effectively communicating with and successfully representing businesses clients. Reason No. 4 We speak the native languages of our clients. Our lawyers speak English, Chinese (Both Mandarin and Cantonese) and Spanish. We are capable to communicate with clients in their comfort zone and make sure their facts are fully understood. Reason No. 5 We know the cultures of our clients inside and out. All of our lawyers have immigrated to the United States. We always take clients’ culture background into consideration in our representation, which plays significant role in persuading judges and immigration officers. It will be our honor to help you to fulfill your American Dream.
Lawbamba Community Reviews
I retained Linda Liang for a contractor dispute, but the work was amateur. The draft complaint was riddled with "rookie" mistakes, including typos and incorrect entity names that I had to audit and fix myself. Most egregious was the billing: 8 hours ($2,256) for a five-page draft that lacked basic due diligence. Her professionalism is equally concerning. When I inquired about the refund of my unused retainer, she became volatile. Despite having my phone and email—which is all that is needed for a standard Zelle transfer—she insisted she was waiting for a "Zel" account. When I explained how the process worked to expedite my refund, she went on a rant, defensively accusing me of calling her a "liar." Litigation is clearly outside her core competency of immigration law. Between the poor work quality, exorbitant billing, and quick temper, I cannot recommend her services.
Review 2
I want to again caution prospective clients to carefully review both the work product and billing practices before retaining this attorney. In my experience, the draft complaint I received contained multiple factual inaccuracies, typographical mistakes, and incorrect entity information that required substantial correction on my part before it could be used. Communication also became unnecessarily difficult when I attempted to address billing concerns and request the return of my unused retainer funds. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her services for litigation-related matters.
