M. Khurram Baig was born in the city of Hyderabad, India.  His family immigrated to the United States in 1979 and Khurram has called Georgia home ever since. Khurram grew up in Stone Mountain and graduated from Redan High School in 1996, where he was an active student leader. M. Gino Brogdon, a native of Ohio, is the youngest of eleven children. He received his B.A. in economics in 1983 from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio and obtained his J.D. in 1986 from the Indiana University School of Law. Upon completing law school, Brogdon moved to Atlanta to begin his legal career. After establishing a successful solo practice, he served on the State Court of Fulton County from March 1996 to July 2002, and on the Superior Court of Fulton County from July 2002 to December 2005.
