David is the father of twin daughters, and in July of 2013, he was blessed with two more daughters through his marriage with Stephanie Stimpson. His family currently resides in Tecumseh, Michigan, located in the northeastern portion of Lenawee County. He is a member and past president of the Lenawee, Hillsdale and Jackson County Community Action Agency, past president of the Tecumseh Kiwanis Club, past Chairman of the Michigan Association of Counties Human Service Committee and member of the State of Michigan Out of State Placement Task Force and Michigan Child Welfare task force. He has testified before the Michigan Senate, was a member of the Lenawee County Library Board, Tecumseh Downtown Development Authority, Lenawee Economic Development Corporation, Lenawee County Land Bank, Lenawee County Brownfield Authority and many more national, state and local organizations throughout his career. His firm continues to follow his community spirit by volunteering and participating in 4-H, little league, and youth soccer.. His participation throughout Lenawee County and the Michigan Association of Counties has afforded him many opportunities to develop and participate in many areas of the State’s Juvenile Justice System and child welfare has written rules and comments for the Michigan Indigent Defense Council.
