GENERAL: I celebrated my 50th year as an Oklahoma attorney in 2012. I focused on insurance defense for the first half of my practice before switching my practice to the plaintiffs’ side, so I have seen insurance law from both sides. Most of my practice comes from referrals from my fellow attorneys, mainly on tougher cases involving insurance coverage and personal injury litigation. TEACHING: I have served Oklahoma attorneys and legal assistants as an adjunct professor since 1986. I have taught Insurance Law and Conflicts of Law at the University of Oklahoma College of Law since 1994. I also taught Insurance Law and Advanced Torts at Oklahoma City University School of Law from 1993-2010, and Insurance Law in the Legal Assistant Program at the University of Oklahoma College of Law from 1986-1992. Richard Wall is a criminal defense attorney from Norman, Oklahoma. He is a life-long resident of Norman, graduating from Norman High School in 1986. Over the last 12 years Mr. Wall has proudly served as a member of the Cleveland County Drug Court and Cleveland County DUI Court as one of two defense attorney representatives. In this role, he has dedicated hundreds of hours of volunteer service to the Drug and DUI Court teams, fellow attorneys and the Drug and DUI Court participants. He was recognized for his service to the Drug Court and DUI Court Programs by being named co-chair of the Cleveland County Drug Court Board in 2005, and he continues to serve in that capacity.. Mr. Wall opened his practice in 1993. In addition to his private practice, he has served as a contracting attorney with the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System. Since he began his practice, he has focused his practice on criminal defense and DUI law. My father quit high school in order to help his father feed the family by working construction.  His work ethic was second to none, and allowed him to become vice president of a division of the construction firm he worked for. I owe a great deal to my parents for the opportunities they provided to me, and the work ethic they instilled in me.
