Location: Pennsylvania. Long story short I have had to bring in contractors to put in special bamboo barrier along 3 sides of my yard, and now I think I have to redo my driveway, and some concrete on my walkway. I also had the contractors install the barrier on my house as well since the stuff can go through concrete. And I had to relace my pool. One neighbor planted bamboo as a "natural fence" and many other people also liked it so I ended up with bamboo on three sides of my property. Cut to six years later and its popping up all over the yard, punched holes in my above ground pool by growing up under it, and popped a stalk out through my driveway. I also suspect the cracking I've been seeing on my walkway is from the bamboo. Its cost me a lot of money to try and contain this shit, and I'm curious if there's any chance I can get the neighbors who planted it to pay. Well two of them at least one moved away last year so I don't want to sue the new guy. Just need to know if its worth going to a lawyer with this.

Location: Pennsylvania I work a job that has overnight on call hours. We get an automated call in the event something comes in. I recently was on call and missed the first automated call, unfortunately just slept through it, I woke to the second one a half hour later, woke up and did the work. My boss is, understandably, mad at me. In the past they have taken people stipends for the hours they worked when this has happened. I think that can’t be legal. Is it? There is no formal process/demerit for the event this happens I only know they’ve done it in the past via word of mouth. There’s nothing we sign with any information regarding what happens if we miss a call, the only thing our handbook says is “you MAY lose overnight on call privileges.” Which I would be fine with, I am not fine with losing the money from the hours I worked because I was delayed by half an hour. Location: Pennsylvania: two years ago a family member died and left a sizable inheritance to my now 18 year old son. The will states the money is to be put into a trust for education, health, comfort with a specific trust officer until he is 26. I was not listed in the will. We heard nothing so 6 months ago when he turned 18 I told him to call the attorney. They wouldn’t return his calls. I finally called and their excuse was “we didn’t recognize his name” even though he kept referencing xxx estate. They talked to me said everything was sold off and assured me he had nothing to worry about for his college tuition this fall. Fast forward July crickets. Same thing they won’t return his calls so I call and they tell me they have nothing to do with this supposed trust and call trust officer she can write checks. Location: Pennsylvania I have been getting conflicting information from multiple lawyers and am looking for some guidance. My sister, who was a single mother, passed away and I now have sole legal and physical custody of her child. I am also the executor of her estate. She had a will drawn up by an attorney but was not signed in time before her passing. I will be selling her home and my plan was to split the funds 50/50 between myself to help support her child and the other half going into a trust for her child. Those were her wishes. I have since been told all of the money must go into a her child’s name and i cannot touch it. If that is the case, that is fine. Obviously, being able to take some out to help care for the child’s needs now and before they turn 18 would be helpful but I want to make sure I dont get myself in any trouble. Location: Pennsylvania Long story short, a loading dock that I requested to have fixed last year through this year was "fixed" for a shipment I needed to ship this week --its not fixed and it delayed my shipment to detrimental effect. Is this something I could claim via insurance or with an attorney/lawyer? I pay the shippers nearly $60,000 to ensure these items are safely transported and handled with a plane waiting to send the items. Because this loading dock was never repaired (since at least August 2025) all of that had to be postponed so I've missed the deadline I worked so hard to reach. Also, since the shippers have to try again I've had to cancel my vacation to let them in and I STILL don't have confirmation from the landlord. Now the costs will only go up because of the repair l repeat visit, rescheduling a trip last minute and now the receivers have to pay rush on the delivery This is on top of negligence and half assed repairs that have damaged my inventory and tech through the 1.5 years I've been leasing this space and this was the last straw.
