I grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated from Kempsville High School.  I attended Old Dominion University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.   From there I decided to stay at Old Dominion University and work on my Master's Degree in Urban Studies & Planning because I was interested in how government could make people's lives better through adaptive reuse and redevelopment..
