I came to the family law arena reluctantly.  When I left law school 22 years ago, I swore I would never, ever, ever, ever do another dissolution.  Here, I am years later in a practice that deals with familys in every possible way.  In many ways, I am the only lawyer a person will have contact with in their lives.  I divorce them, do their pre-nuptial agreements, their annulments, their adoptions, their wills, thier probates.. I feel it is important to take the long view.  Clients spend maybe a couple of years with their attorney but will be parents of the children forever.  It is important to handle matters in such a way as to protect the relationship so the children don't end up the real victims.
