Official statutory text

Salaries of appointive heads of departments and salaries of deputies or assistants of any department, whose head is elected or appointed, shall be fixed by the council of the respective county governments where no other provision is made in the Hawaii Revised Statutes, or any amendatory acts thereto, for fixing the salaries.
