Budgets - Audits.

It shall be the duty of the chairman of the board of directors

to keep in repair equipment, apparatus, and other property of the

district and to operate the same as directed by the board. The

chairman and all persons who may perform any service or labor as

provided herein shall be paid such just and reasonable compensation

as may be allowed by the board of directors and the board shall

annually prepare an estimated budget for the coming year and submit

such budget to the board of county commissioners for their approval.

The board of directors shall cause an annual audit of the district's

records and accounts to be made, and shall make a report on the

matters at each annual meeting.
