Assignment of lease as security

Official statutory text

No assignment of a school land lease as security shall be valid

unless filed for record in the office of the Commissioners of the

Land Office within thirty (30) days after execution of the

assignment. The Land Office shall charge a fee set by the

Commissioners of the Land Office for entering and recording each

assignment. No assignments of the lease which is the home of the

family shall be valid unless executed by both husband and wife.
