§ 823.259. EXEMPTION FROM CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; INVESTMENT AUTHORITY CUMULATIVE OF OTHER LAW.

(a) An investment made under this subchapter is not subject to the restrictions and prohibitions relating to investments contained in this code other than those provided by Subchapter C.
(b) Investments authorized by this subchapter are in addition to other investments permitted under this code for a domestic insurer.
