App. § 5-802. Parks Commission
Official statutory text
(a) The Parks Commission shall consist of five members, one of whom shall be elected at each annual meeting for a five-year term.
(b) Vacancies in the Commission shall be filled by the remaining commissioners until the next annual meeting of the City.
(c) The Commission shall have charge of the construction, maintenance, and control of all public parks within the City. The term “public parks” shall not be construed to include recreational fields and playgrounds.
