About Lindsey Roberts
Courtroom veteran Lindsey Roberts has a wealth of experience in criminal law. His decades as a litigator as well as his sought-after expertise as an instructor in all areas of criminal law make him a perfect fit with the team of criminal defense professionals at the firm. Having served fifteen years as a prosecutor in Dallas and Williamson Counties and five years as the Director of Training for the Texas District & County Attorneys Association, Lindsey is able to provide his clients with invaluable insight into the mindset of their adversaries, critical in evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of cases, pretrial negotiations, and in preparation for and during jury trials.. Lindsey completed his prosecutorial career as the First Assistant District Attorney in Williamson County, Texas and brings with him a unique blend of trial and appellate expertise. He has tried over a hundred and fifty felony and misdemeanor jury trials including murder, capital murder, manslaughter, child physical and sexual abuse, aggravated robbery, sexual assault, drug, and intoxication offenses. Lindsey’s appellate experience includes the handling of numerous capital murder death penalty writs, serving as Chief of the Dallas County Appellate Section and as a briefing attorney at the Court of Criminal Appeals in Austin. Lindsey has been Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2002.. Lindsey graduated from the University of Texas in 1989 and earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1992. He has been a member in good standing of the Texas Bar since 1992 and serves on several boards and commissions, including the Texas Board of Legal Specialization Criminal Law Exam Commission and the Ride on Center for Kids in Georgetown, Texas. Lindsey is a member of the Williamson County Bell County Bar Associations.
