Joni is a certified as a Family Law Specialist by the California Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. She is a graduate of the Texas Southern Law School Family Law Trial Institute. She is a member of the Association of Family Law Specialist, State Bar of California (Family Law Section), Beverly Hills Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and American Bar Association. She is a former Instructor at UCLA wherein she taught Family Law. She also taught Legal Writing, Tort Law and Contracts at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Paralegal Program.
