I volunteered my time at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, Health Advocacy Unit, where I specialized in health and healthcare related cases. I dealt with complex insurance issues and helped individuals with no means mediate their claims with insurance companies and healthcare providers.. I graduated from Towson University with honors and received the James L. Dunbar, Jr. award for outstanding graduates from the College of Business and Economics.. I went onto the University of Baltimore School of Law where I graduated with honors. I was an active member of the Student Bar Association, American Bar Association Law Student Division, Environmental Law Society, and Criminal Law Society.. I was nominated for the Daily Record’s "Twenty in their Twenties" award. I have over eighty hours of medication/dispute resolution training and I am certified mediator in the State of Maryland. I am an active member of the Baltimore City Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the DC Bar Association.
