Jason Hicks is a practicing Attorney licensed by the Florida Bar. Born in 1978, Jason was raised in Brevard County, Florida. He attended Titusville High School and graduated in 1996. Jason graduated from the University of Central Florida in Orlando in 2002 where he graduated with Honors as a History major. Jason then attended the Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, earning a Jurisdoctorate degree in 2007.. A love for Brevard County brought Jason back home after law school. Like many young lawyers, Jason went on to the State Attorney's Office as a prosecutor with hopes of getting substantial trial experience.  For him, this plan was a success.  Jason had the opportunity to tackle many facets of the litigation experience; he has trial experience that many attorneys in private practice take a decade to accomplish.  In 2008, Jason was nominated and selected by the Brevard County Bar Association for the Judge T. Mitchell Barlow Award.  This award is given annually to only one young lawyer among all attorneys in Brevard County.  This award signifies that the recipient has maintained and is being recognized for the pursuit of the highest ideals and tenets of the legal profession: character, competence, and commitment.. Jason has literally handled thousands of criminal cases from start to finish. His criminal trial experience includes Driving Under the Influence, Driving While License Suspended, Drug Possession cases, Battery cases, and many other criminal matters. Although Jason’s practice mainly focuses on litigating DUI and other misdemeanor and felony criminal matters, he also handles Family Law and Personal Injury cases. Jason’s office is located in Cocoa Beach, Florida on S. Orlando Avenue (A1A).
