Francis V. (“Frank”) Cristiano is a third generation Denver native, having grown up in southeast Denver, and graduated from Denver South High School, where he played football and lacrosse, as well as was active in other extracurricular activities including drama. His father, Vincent, was a well-known and respected Denver attorney/litigator, who moved to Denver, after having been born and raised in Pueblo, and was quite active in the legal community in the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. Frank Cristiano attended and graduated from the University of Colorado for his undergraduate education, as a political science major, and the University of Denver, College of Law, for his legal degree. He helped support himself during high school and college with blue collar work, including loading trucks, highway department work, and construction labor. Upon graduation from law school, he was employed initially with a firm emphasizing real estate and construction law and litigation, and then another emphasizing personal injury defense. He soon, however, struck out on his own and gained a passion for and dedication to representing plaintiffs in personal injury, malpractice, and business and financial tort claims.. He joined and became quite active the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, and has been an Eagle contributor and member of its Board of Directors since 2003. He has as well been the professional negligence editor for its publication, “Trial Talk,” for more than 20 years, as well as the author of more than 20 published articles on the subject. He has tried to verdict or arbitration award, a multitude of cases, including numerous malpractice, personal injury, and business or financial claims. Has been recognized by “Super Lawyers,” as one of its top attorneys in the state, as well as recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association as one of its top 100 trial lawyers. He has as well been a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum since 2003. He is co-chair of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations’ Interprofessional Committee, a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation, and a member of the Faculty of Federal Advocates.. His passion is not merely for the law, but for what it represents and strives for, which is access to justice not just for the rich and powerful, but for all of us. He promises always to listen to and care for his clients, as well as to vigorously and strongly bring forward their claims.

I have built a legal career working for over 12 years exclusively on cases of divorce and other family law matters. I chose the practice of family law because of my deep passion for assisting clients and their children through challenging and, oftentimes, traumatic situations. I understand that every client and family is unique and has different legal needs. My clients say I approach every case with compassion, thoughtfulness, and a solution-oriented focus. Although some family law cases must ultimately be resolved through litigation, I believe in working with clients to explore a variety of means for achieving their goals.. Here are what some past clients have said about my legal advocacy:. Francesca “Chessie” Morgan crossed my path quite by chance. One of my domestic violence advocates said, “It’s one in a million chance, but call this number (Colorado Legal Service). I called. And Chessie entered my life. Almost daily for nearly two years.. Despite my permanently moving to a rural, out-of-state mountain village with oh-so intermittent cell and internet reception, Chessie consistently gave that extra effort necessary for safe and equitable solutions.. What could have been resolved quickly took months. And months. And more months. Chessie skillfully negotiated with my contentious now ex … and his opposing counsel. She had to establish deadlines for every requisite interaction, or we’d still be in court. She never once engaged in their drama and delay tactics.. Without hesitation, I recognize and recommend Chessie as an amazing family law attorney. She is always and efficiently focused on timely resolutions. Her ability to explain the process and keep it in forward motion put me at ease. She took care of me when I couldn’t take care of myself.. It was my pleasure and an honor to work with Chessie. The Kelley Rider Goodwin firm is lucky to have her. Grateful is an understatement. Thanks, Chessie!. Another grateful client:. Just wanted to thank you for everything. I mean, truly. You not only helped and I mean helped greatly, you were so supportive. You listened to my requests and fought hard. You advised me on what and when to ask for things. And in the end, we have our home. Thank you.. A client in their own words:. You made this difficult process much easier through your honesty and integrity. I appreciate all of your effort and advice. You are truly talented.. Another example of my excellent, effective advocacy:. You working with me through this tough process has been a blessing. I have nothing but good things to say as my experience with you has been great with professionalism from communication, guidance and courage. So thank you so much!
