I continued with that firm through law school and for a few years following graduation. The experience I obtained through my employment at that law firm is extremely valuable since it gave me a different perspective of these practice areas. I have had hands-on experience in these practice areas for 20+ years and have had the honor of working with families both through the eyes of a legal assistant and as an attorney. I refer to my legal assistant experience as "behind the scenes" experience. I have felt the pain with my clients, shared the joys with my clients, and helped them to achieve their goals.
