Amee Pham knew at a young age that she wanted to be an attorney who could help others. Amee believes that everyone deserves an attorney who is willing to take the time to listen to their concerns, advocate for their interests, and help reach a resolution that allows them to move forward.. Raised in Savannah, Georgia, Amee moved to Minnesota to attend Hamline University School of Law on a full academic scholarship. During her time at Hamline, she obtained a Certificate in Advocacy and Problem-Solving from the Dispute Resolution Institute and competed in the ABA Negotiation Competition. Hamline’s DRI program is currently ranked 3rd in the nation in dispute resolution by U.S. News & World Report and has been in the top 5 national rankings for 14 consecutive years.. As a Hamline Law student, she was active in the Student Bar Association, serving as President of the SBA and a member of the Ways & Means Committee. Amee was also participated in a variety of student organizations, including Phi Alpha Delta (serving as Social Committee Chair), Hamline Women’s Legal Caucus, Alternate Dispute Resolution Student Chapter, and Asian Pacific Law Students Association.. Prior to attending law school, Amee graduated summa cum laude from Armstrong State University with a degree in Political Science. She received the Minority Academic Achievement Scholars (MACAS) Academic Excellence award. Additionally, she is a member of Pi Gamma Mu, the international honor society in social sciences.. Amee also worked for a law firm in Savannah, Georgia which focused on workers’ compensation, personal injury, and medical malpractice. While at Hamline Law, she volunteered at Georgia Legal Services Program, a non-profit law firm dedicated to providing free civil legal services to low-income residents in the state of Georgia. As a Hamline Law student, Amee also completed two externships which both transitioned into clerkship opportunities, including Fields Law Firm and as a judicial clerk at the Office of Administrative Hearings. As a practictioner, Amee utilizes her litigation experience as a petitioner's attorney and critical legal analysis skills as a judicial staff attorney to competently evaluate and defend employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters.
