I was born and raised to represent individuals who have been needlessly injured. I mean that literally. At a young age my father would tell me about the clients he was representing. I would meet them and take pride in their admiration of my father. I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer and represent clients that needed my help. I was an athlete in high school playing both football and track. I then went to undergrad at the University of Missouri where I could enjoy my passion for Mizzou sports up close. After obtaining my degree in Business Administration I went to St. Louis University for Law School. I knew I wanted to be in court so after law school I obtained a job working at the Circuit Attorney’s Office in the City of St. Louis. It was at the Circuit Attorney’s Office that I was able to hone my trial skills while representing victims of crime. At the Circuit Attorney’s Office, I tried over 50 cases starting with simple assaults and then eventually murder cases. I presided over the Grand Jury and was head of the Bomb and Arson unit. In 2011, I was honored with the Circuit Attorney “Trial Star” for winning every jury trial I tried that year. After 4 years at the Circuit Attorney’s Office, I was offered a job at Leritz, Plunkert & Bruning. Now I represent individuals in Missouri and Illinois in all types of personal injury matters. In my short time here I have obtained a judgment for $2.5 million and settled a large class action lawsuit for a confidential amount. Super Lawyers Magazine has distinguished me a Rising Star in the field of product liability litigation. I try to give back to community when I can. I started the Downtown Neighborhood Watch Group and raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. I have been named National Multiple Sclerosis Corporate Achiever for my fund raising efforts. I love the city of St. Louis and support it whenever I can. Recently I was appointed by Mayor Francis Slay to serve on the Advisory Board for the Gateway Mall. I am married to my lovely wife Lauren and we have a beautiful young daughter Mia. I would be happy to represent you.

I do not consider myself a typical “lawyer” that you might hear jokes told about. My main career objective is not to make every dollar I can. Rather, I am driven by the purpose of being an advocate for those I represent. In the majority of cases that I see, whether it be an individual who has been seriously injured, or someone who has lost a loved one, my client has come to me to solve a problem that will affect the rest of his or her life. I am honored and humbled by that responsibility, and I do not take it lightly. I strongly believe that the profession of lawyer should be treated as a noble endeavor, with the cornerstone principles being compassion for your client and zealous advocacy on their behalf. A lawyer should do what is best for their client in every situation. Many times that involves not only going to court, filing law suits, or arguing before a jury, but it also involves providing a sympathetic ear, being a true counselor, and providing sound advice about life in general. In short, my goal is to serve my clients as an advocate in every sense of the word. I want to truly be in their corner, and fight their fight with them. The most important things in my life are my faith in God and my family. I truly believe that God has a hand in my life, and I am grateful for that fact every day. I am married to the most beautiful woman I know, Kelly. Our children, Noah, Grace, Avery, and Jack are the joy of my life, and I do everything in my professional life with an eye toward making my family proud to say that “Daddy is a lawyer.”

Anthony has as varied a background as they come…he has worked all of his life, beginning as the kid who corrals the carts at your local grocery store.. Anthony moved into retail sales as a teenager, working his way up the ladder to Sales Supervisor by age 18.. He ran the number 1 sales department in the region for 12 consecutive months, and was the youngest recipient of the retail chain’s “Top Gun” award.. Anthony moved on from sales to start a family and worked while completing his Associates Degree, right here in Kansas City, at Maple Woods Community College.Anthony worked his way through undergraduate school at Park University.. He worked for the United States Postal Service at night from 630pm till 3, 5, and sometimes 7am to support his wife and children, only to rush to his 8am class, while completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing.. It had always been a dream to attend law school and become a lawyer who would fight for good people. However, this dream just always seemed a little too far from his grasp. Upon the insistence of his wife Mary, Anthony took the Law School Application Test and applied to the University of Kansas City – School of Law. Much to Anthony’s surprise, UMKC offered him a full scholarship to attend the upcoming school year.. Anthony’s parents, Martin and Olga Moreno, were beyond supportive and insisted that he take this opportunity with their blessing and promise to help in any way they could. This was the opportunity of a lifetime and although the Postal Service offered much in the way of job security, Anthony took a leap of faith and accepted UMKC’s offer.. Now licensed in Missouri and Kansas , Anthony is living his lifelong dream by running his own law practice in his hometown of Kansas City, MO. He has lived all over this town, touching almost every corner of the metropolitan area and he looks forward to serving the people of this community for many…many years to come…
