David A. Volk was born in El Paso, Texas. He was raised on the border and saw the injustices perpetrated by police officers upon the lower class and Mexican Immigrants, as well as violence on the Juarez/El Paso border. Mr. Volk graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a degree in Psychology and Minor in Spanish. After graduating from Trinity, Mr. Volk received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) Arizona State University College of Law in Tempe, AZ where he participated in the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s Clinic where he spent time in trial prosecuting misdemeanor offenses. While awaiting bar results, Mr. Volk worked at the Bexar County Staff Attorney’s office helping pro se defendants with family law issues.. As an attorney licensed in the State of Texas, Mr. Volk has had significant success representing auto accident plaintiffs and criminal defendants. His trial experience ranges from misdemeanor to felony jury trial experience in Bexar, Kendall, Medina, Frio, Atascosa, Guadalupe, Comal, and Travis County. Mr. Volk’s trial work has had him recognized as one of San Antonio’s Best Lawyers of 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 as well as a Rising Star Among Lawyers in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 by San Antonio Scene Magazine. Furthermore, Mr. Volk is a certified civil mediator..
