David A. Volk was born in El Paso, Texas. He was raised on the border and saw the injustices perpetrated by police officers upon the lower class and Mexican Immigrants, as well as violence on the Juarez/El Paso border. Mr. Volk graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX with a degree in Psychology and Minor in Spanish. After graduating from Trinity, Mr. Volk received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) Arizona State University College of Law in Tempe, AZ where he participated in the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s Clinic where he spent time in trial prosecuting misdemeanor offenses. While awaiting bar results, Mr. Volk worked at the Bexar County Staff Attorney’s office helping pro se defendants with family law issues..
