Carey, III, J.S.C. at the Essex County Superior Court. Judge Carey is presently the Presiding Judge for the Civil Division of the Essex Vicinage which is considered one of the largest and busiest dockets in the State of New Jersey. In this position, Mr. Tobin was responsible for all motion practice, including the scheduling, review, and analysis of all submissions, as well as extensive research for issues arising during trial. Mr. Tobin evaluated meritorious legal positions and articulated appropriate recommendations for court rulings, and managed an entire claims docket for litigation proceedings such as motion hearings, trials, settlement conferences, and case management conferences. Mr. Tobin also served as a mediator to disputes amongst litigants.. Mr. Tobin has a musical background in drums and a long devoted passion for Rock & Roll since a very young age. He has attended a large number of concerts in his lifetime throughout the United States, including many repeat performances from his favorite musical performers.
