Jordan B. I was born in Ruston, Louisiana before moving to Mandeville, Louisiana in 2005, one month before Hurricane Katrina, one of the most devastating natural disasters in U.S. history. My family’s experience with criminal law issues was the motivation for my becoming a defense attorney. I have personal experience with the kind of effects criminal matters can have on a family unit both physically and emotionally.. I graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Finance in 2014. My criminal practice primarily involves defending misdemeanors, probation/parole matters and expungements but I also assist Mr. McKay in his complex felony cases. In addition, I maintain a domestic relations practice, which includes divorces, dissolution, child custody, child support, alimony, adoptions, paternity and guardianship. I also work in the areas of bankruptcy, estate planning and probate, elder law, and disability benefits.
