Family Law cases are often the most difficult, stressful, and emotional moments in a person’s life. Ford can be trusted to deliver the best representation under the law without judgment of your circumstances.. Cameron C.F. Ford is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law, one of the best legal writing programs in the country, with a focus on Family and Criminal Law. During law school, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Seattle Journal for Social Justice, a staffer on the Korematsu Center for Law & Equality amicus curiae brief team, and counsel responsible for Domestic Violence Protection Orders at DAWN. Before joining Community Law, Cameron C.F. Ford provided legal services to prison inmates, including family law legal services. Whether it was finalizing a divorce from a cell, ensuring some contact with kids from prison, or adjusting child support orders after being restrained from the workforce, Attorney Ford could handle the case even under the onerous of conditions of confinement and against the suffocating procedures of prisons across the state. No matter the barriers erected by the state or the other party in your case, attorney Ford is experienced in overcoming them and much worse.. Cameron C.F. If you desire a family law attorney you can trust with even your most delicate circumstances, who can sit unmovable against the raging emotions and chaos of a family law proceeding and calmly resolve your case, you will want Cameron C.F. Ford.

I handle dissolution actions with or without children, relocation actions, modification actions, parentage actions, third party custody actions, complex and high asset dissolutions and domestic violence petitions. My approach is generally to chart a path to the end of this process with the least amount of acrimony while serving my client’s best interests in light of the prevailing statutes and caselaw. This can be achieved if everyone has the same goals. Oftentimes, it works; sometimes, it doesn’t. When it doesn’t, I can be counted on to be a strong litigator for my client throughout the process even into trial, if that becomes necessary.

Experienced Family Law Attorney.. As a family law attorney, I have had experience representing clients in high-conflict and complex divorces, including parenting cases involving domestic violence and/or substance abuse (or allegations thereof). As an experienced family law attorney, I have had proven success in the courtroom and in mediation, as well as in negotiating equitable settlements outside of either the courtroom or mediation. As a teacher and an attorney, I use my experience in the classroom and outside of law to better understand and anticipate the practical implications of a parenting plan or child support order and to provide clients with legal documents in their divorce that are going to make sense when they put them into action once their divorce is final.. I started C. Fellows Law & Education, pllc to be able to provide clients with more targeted/tailored options for family law services. I recognize that not everybody going through a divorce can afford (or needs) a full-on attorney who requires a multi-thousand-dollar advance fee. The bulk of my practice is limited representation options and services that I provide for a flat fee so that family law services are more accessible to individuals who might otherwise not seek out legal counsel.. Experienced Education Advocate and Education Professional.. In addition to being an attorney, I have a background in education and have also earned my Masters of Elementary Education. I use my legal expertise and my background in education to help families navigate the education system and advocate for their child’s academic success. My experience as a teacher helps me ask the right questions and make suggestions when discussing a student’s academic progress. During my teaching experience, I have been involved in my school’s/district’s Racial and Educational Justice and Inclusionary Practices teams. I know what it’s like to advocate for more culturally competent teaching and greater inclusion of students with disabilities from within the system. As both a teacher and an attorney, I am in a unique position to bridge the gap between the “legalese” written in an IEP or 504 Plan and what teaching practices and accommodations should look like in the classroom in order to help a student make meaningful progress.
