I graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2006. Soon after, I moved to Chicago, IL, where my practice focused on Labor and Employment. But all too often, I witnessed individuals terminated due to complications with their immigration status.. These experiences inspired me to focus my practice on immigration law. In 2013, I moved back to Wisconsin to open my own firm, Pionek Valle Law Group, LLC. I strive to provide a high quality, personal service to all my clients.. Helping families stay together is my passion.

I have practiced family law for 18 years. I love the client contact, the problem solving, and the creative solutions that go into resolving complex family litigation. My practice is focused primarily in Waukesha and Milwaukee, but I do travel to the surrounding counties as clients need.. When I first began my legal career, I assisted clients in other matters besides family law. However, I now practice exclusively family law because of both the empathy I feel toward my clients and the unique set of interdisciplinary skills that family law practice requires. Each day is different. On Monday, I might negotiate a child custody agreement, relying on input from a court-appointed social worker and other child specialists to develop the best schedule that meets the developmental needs of a child, while also maximizing placement for both parents. On Tuesday, I could be discussing with an accountant how to appropriately value a closely-held family company. On Wednesday, I may be advocating for my client at a court hearing, presenting arguments to the judge on jurisdiction issues of an international child abduction case. On Thursday, I might spend time discussing retirement account planning for my client with his/her financial planner. And, on Friday, I may be sitting down with my client to develop a comprehensive agreement to resolve their case. Each day is different, and each client is different. I enjoy the ability to creatively problem-solve with my clients to develop a complex strategy to meet their goals and needs.. Outside of the office, I enjoy being active. From soccer (coaching and playing), to cycling, to kayaking, to skiing, to epic family vacations, I love spending time with my family experiencing all that the outdoors has to offer. When I can afford some quiet time at home, my time is often devoted to cooking, socializing with friends and family, searching for new and tasty whiskeys and wines, or pursuing my delusional childhood dream of becoming a world-class drummer for a famous rock band.... Practice Areas: Estate Planning
Our loved ones are often the reason we work so hard. My job is to help you make sure your loved ones are properly cared for and to preserve your resources for their benefit.. Becoming a new father really brought this into perspective for me. I took plenty of time to do some “liquid living:" some time in Colorado, a trip around the world, learning another language. As a result, I feel I can bring a unique perspective to the estate planning process.. My purpose is to help clients understand how to handle unexpected events in their lives. For example, if you can no longer take care of yourself or there has been a death in the family:. · How is the mortgage going to be paid?. · Who can get money out of my accounts to pay for food?. · Who is going to take care of my kids and how is that going to be determined?. · Will my children have to move?. A lot of us are concerned about something happening to us that will be a burden on the rest of our family. We also worry about causing a significant impact on their ability to live their lives. A lot of planning goes into dealing with incapacity because that can often be more trying than a death in the family.. Estate planning is important to me because it is the process used to manage those issues. It helps people know those issues are taken care of and allows them to focus on things that are more fulfilling in their personal and professional lives.. I work with financial planners, accountants, insurance companies and other professionals to figure out the best way to take care of your family based on your values.. I enjoy providing solutions that help people have the peace of mind that their family will be taken care of if they cannot do it themselves. I also take pride in using the time to find the right fit based on my clients’ values; ensure they understand the available options and are actively engaged in the process. I focus on my clients’ personalities, goals, and values to provide a tailored estate planning solution. That is why I went to law school – to learn how I can help people.. If an estate planning consultation will help you feel better about how your loved ones will be taken care of after something happens, please set up a consultation and fill out and return our Estate Planning Deficiencies Checklist.
