I have been practicing exclusively in the area of Family Law and Domestic Relations for my entire career.  After graduating from the University of Denver law school, I accepted a fellowship position with the Eighteenth Judicial District in Colorado working exclusively in Family Law and Domestic Relations with the Honorable Judge Angela R. Arkin. The fellowship experience allowed me to see the judges’ perspective and how judges dealt with and analyzed issues. Working closely with judges taught me that good advocacy, preparation, and aggressive representation is very important to reach resolutions in or out of the courtroom.. I have been licensed as an attorney since September 1995.  I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1995.  I went to work as a criminal prosecutor for a District Attorney's office in Central Alabama.  After a couple of years (and 16 jury trials) I started my own practice.  In 2000, I moved to Florida and began working in the medical malpractice defense and general insurance defense field.. I presently practice in the areas of insurance coverage, SIU, property coverage and liability claims, auto liability and bad faith litigation.

I am originally from New York and grew up in the New York City Metropolitan area. I then went to attend undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Albany, ("UAlbany"). I graduated from UAlbany in 2006 with cum laude honors for my studies in Political Theory and History. After graduation, I moved to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center and graduated 6 months prior to my scheduled graduation date. In May of 2014, I began working at the largest Insurance Defense firm in Florida and was promoted to Partner of the Personal Injury Protection Group for the Orlando office in July of 2017. Following that, I supervised a group on 12 attorneys, supervising 1000's of pending suits and handling a personal case load of over 200 cases in various stages of litigation from pre-suit to trial and appeal. I am a retired law enforcement officer with over twenty years experience as an officer. I obtained my undergraduate degree and the majority of my law degree while also working as a full time officer, supervisor and shift commander..
