Anna-Maria moved from Germany to Florida in 2000.  The first few years, Anna-Maria was devoted to learning English; eventually, she graduated with honors from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology.  Then, Anna-Maria moved on, working as a case manager for Henderson Behavioral Health, and as paralegal, before she decided to attend law school.. In 2012, Anna-Maria earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law where she graduated in the top 10% of her graduating class.. Prior to joining attorney Mark Seff as an associate attorney, Anna-Maria served as a certified legal intern for the Broward County Office of the Public Defender, where she worked in the felony division.  While working at the Broward PDs office, Anna-Maria participated in daily arraignments, numerous plea negotiations, and pre-trial motion litigation.. Recently, Anna-Maria completed her training as a Guardian ad Litem. Now she is looking forward to expand her practice in representing the best interest of children regarding timesharing, parental responsibility, and other children’s issues..
