Hi, my name is Scott M. Gross, Esq. and I am a partner with Angius & Terry LLP. I focus my practice on representing condominium and homeowners associations in construction defect litigation. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2005 and thereafter obtained my Juris Doctorate degree from The Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. I began my legal career as in-house counsel for a multi-million dollar healthcare corporation focusing on licensing and compliance issues. In 2010, I continued my career by joining one of the largest creditors rights law firms in the nation and focused my practice on representing corporate banking clients. In 2011, I joined another state-wide creditors rights firm and quickly worked my way into a managing attorney role, directly overseeing the litigation department for the firm. I am a member in good standing of the Florida Bar and I am licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts and the Northern, Middle, and Southern District Courts of Florida. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, Florida Gator sports (GO GATORS!) and spending time with my wife, Katie, my sons, Austin and Dylan, and friends and family around the Tampa Bay area.

For more than 30 years, my legal staff and I have represented a broad spectrum of clients. We typically represent CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, HR Directors, Physicians, Medical Device Professionals, Hospital Administrators, Senior Management and many others from Fortune 500 Companies. We have represented our clients in State and Federal courts not only in Jacksonville, but also in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Key West, and other towns and cities in Florida and throughout the Southeast.. I moved to Jacksonville after graduating from law school at UF in Gainesville. I began my legal career working for a large law firm which represented Fortune 500 corporations. That experience led me to start my own firm in 1985, representing employees who have been illegally discriminated against on the job and/or wrongfully terminated. As it has evolved, our practice now focuses on very highly compensated individuals.. With regard to our intake process, when you contact us we will initially ask you to complete an online intake form which I designed so that we can quickly determine whether there is a legal issue that we may be able to assist you with. If so, we will offer to schedule an appointment to meet with you. The intake form can be completed at our firm's website: .. We initially charge an hourly fee to carefully evaluate your case. We will thoroughly review the available evidence and if there is a good faith basis to prosecute your claim, we will discuss the best way to handle the case going forward, with regard to attorneys' fees and expenses. Typically, we require a retainer and require that the client pay his or her own out-of-pocket expenses, or “costs,” going forward. The retainer covers a small portion of our fees with the balance being contingent on our making a recovery on your behalf, on a contingent fee basis. These terms can be discussed during or after the initial consultation, once I know more about your particular circumstances. All of these terms are also explained in writing.. We never agree to represent more than a handful of clients at any given time because we don't want to compromise the quality of care that we provide on behalf of each of our clients. I am personally involved in and responsible for all our cases, from start to finish. All of these matters are explained in greater detail on our firm's website at: .. Our office is located on A1A (also called "3rd Street"), between Beach Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard, near A1A's intersection with 17th Avenue North, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
