Wedemeyer on the Court of Criminal Appeals of Tennessee, before returning to Memphis in 2005, to become a prosecutor for the 30th Judicial District of Tennessee. As an Assistant District Attorney for over a decade, Brooks learned the importance of effective trial advocacy and negotiation. She honed these skills daily and attended a Trial Advocacy program at the prestigious National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
