I’m Mark Rubin. I have been a lawyer for almost 40 years. My primary practice areas have always included business and real estate matters, probate and estate and incapacity planning (including trust and estate litigation), and ethics and professional responsibility aka the law of lawyering. (More recently, as part-time General Counsel for Pima Medical Institute - a private, allied health, vocational school - I have learned much about education law.) I have been in Tucson for 59+ years. Mark A. Mark was recognized as a Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2013, named to the Southwest Superlawyers list in 2017, and has given lectures on topics such as premises liability, trial evidence, and technology in the legal field.  He is also an active member of the Publications Committee for the Arizona Association of Justice (AzAJ), has published articles regarding premises liability litigation, and co-authors a regular column in the AzAJ's Advocate focused on emerging technology for trial attorneys.

Mark Pyper graduated from Brigham Young University in 1983 with a B.A. in English literature. He later went on to graduate from the University of Santa Clara’s College of Law in 1986 with a J.D. degree. During his last year of law school, Mark also attended the University of Utah College of Law where he was an intern at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah, where he worked closely with the Hon.
