Our office has operated on Justice Avenue since June 1, 1993. It's a far piece from being an old farm boy from North Louisiana, but it's what I've wanted to do since the Seventh Grade. As a lawyer, I have been representing victims of accidents since 1989. Initially as a law clerk and then as a lawyer, I had the great opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious personal injury attorneys in the state.  I worked there almost exclusively in the fields of medical negligence and maritime accidents.  In 1991, I left for greener pastures to what was at the time the largest personal injury firm in the state.  Not only was my experience in handling cases involving offshore accidents greatly expanded, but I learned how to represent the automobile accident victim. It starts at the foundation of the relationship - the contract for services.  Most attorneys charge 33%, others 36%, and a well-known advertising irm charges a 40% fee, if they settle your case without filing a lawsuit.  Their fee is much higher if a lawsuit is necessary. This directly affects how much money you will receive for your injury. The lesser the attorney's fee means more money you will put in your pocket, and that's not just a guarantee - it's in your contract.

Mr. Ellis graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 and returned home to attend Loyola University New Orleans law and business graduate schools. After leaving the City, Mr. Ellis utilizing the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Investor Pilot Program (EB-5 Program) authored a business take combined the foreign investment funds, with both the Louisiana and Federal solar tax credit programs creating one of Louisiana’s first solar lease programs.  Mr. Ellis oversaw all aspects of the business operations, and, more importantly, qualified for all State and Federal credits afforded under the programs.  During this time, he served as the Vice President and General Counsel of the Uptown Solar Group installing several megawatts on residential homes through Louisiana.. Thereafter Mr. Ellis assumed the management and direct day-to-day business operations of Gulf Coast Regional Center, L.L.C., a licensed regional center, working to promote economic redevelopment and permanent job creation throughout Louisiana. In March 2009, I was appointed by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal to the Louisiana State Board of Election Supervisors.  The State Board of Election Supervisors serves to review election laws and the conduct of elections within the state.  According to statute, the board is comprised of seven members, including the lieutenant governor, the secretary of state, the attorney general and the commissioner of elections or a designee of the secretary of state, as determined by the secretary of state.  The board also includes one member of the Clerks of Court Association and one member of the Registrars of Voters Association elected by their respective associations to serve.  The remaining member is selected by the Governor from nominations submitted by the presidents of Centenary College, Dillard University, Louisiana College, Loyola University, Tulane University of Louisiana, and Xavier University.  I was nominated by the president of Loyola University.  I am honored to serve on the Board..
