Alexis a native of Tucson, Arizona, and has lived in Phoenix since 2001. Mr. Sammons has practiced law at the law firm of Sanders & Parks, P.C., in Phoenix, Arizona, for over thirty-five years. He has been a Director of the firm for over thirty years, and twice served as its President. From 1978 to 2014, his practice focused on personal injury litigation. Utilizing his prior military medical training and experience, his practice had a special emphasis on medical malpractice cases as well as general personal injury litigation including trucking accidents, products liability, premises liability, governmental tort liability, and automotive liability.  He has favorably resolved thousands of litigated matters, for both plaintiffs and defendants, and has been lead trial counsel in over sixty-five successful jury trials at the state and federal level. After obtaining my undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, I attended Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education where I studied educational pedagogy and learned how to effectively convey information to diverse groups of people. I then went on to study law and legal advocacy at the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall) where I was a member of the California Law Review. After law school I was privileged to clerk for renowned civil rights jurist, Judge Damon J. Keith on the United States Court of Appeals and to work at one of Arizona’s premier law firms, Osborn Maledon. At the firm, I represented businesses and governmental entities in a variety of complex litigation matters in state and federal court.. In 2015, I founded Yaser Ali Law in order to focus on serving the needs of individuals, families, and small businesses.
