Though born in Connecticut, Alexa grew up in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. She knew from an early age she wanted to be a lawyer and, after earning bachelors degrees in both political science and history from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, she went on to law school. Alexa graduated from Belmont University College of Law in 2017.
