Timera Drake, the Principal Attoney at Drake Law Offices, PLLC, can defend you in court if you have been charged with a misdemeanor crime or low-level felony (C-Level). I offer a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your case.. As a former public defender, I have worked in several courts in both King County and Snohomish County. I have extensive experience defending all misdemeanor crimes, including DUI and Physical Control, Assault, domestic violence charges, Driving While License Suspended 1, and theft. I can represent you at DOL licensing hearings, and assist you in reinstating your license. I have positive, trusted relationships with judges and prosecutors in Marysville, Arlington, Tukwila, Burien, SeaTac, Renton, and Auburn, to name a few. That means I can negotiate a better outcome in your case than you might get with a public defense attorney. I look forward to talking with you about your case, and if you become a client, she will work hard to get you the best resolution possible in your case.. I am an experienced negotiator and can assist you in your unemployment claim. I can file appeals when your claim is denied, and I can represent you at administrative appeals hearings and at the higher level of appeals at the Commissioner's level. I can work with you to minimize overpayment claims by the ESD, with the goal of eliminating any demands for repayment.. I offer unbundled family law services so that people on limited budgets can access quality legal services in their family law matters. If you have an uncontested divorce, parenting plan, support plan, division or property, or other issue you need assistance with, I can help you draft that form and file it for you with the court and the proper parties. I can represent you at a single court hearing, but I do not offer full representation in family law matters, nor do I engage in any family law litigation.

Tim has handled major civil and criminal trials and appeals, in courts in Washington and around the country, for over thirty years. Tim’s criminal trial experience ranges from misdemeanors to capital murder cases. He sits on the Washington Supreme Court’s Capital Defense Qualification Committee, and is himself one of a handful of Washington lawyers qualified to handle capital murder cases at all three levels: trial, appeal, and post conviction proceedings. He has argued several landmark criminal appeals in Washington and several other states, in the federal courts, and in the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a nationally recognized authority on capital punishment and habeas corpus law, and has been recognized by the federal courts as an expert on standards for effective assistance of counsel in criminal trials. Tim’s civil practice ranges from major civil rights cases to claims of legal and medical malpractice, negligence and products liability to highway design and car truck accidents. At the trial level, he has won clients in those areas millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements. In the appellate courts, his cases have repeatedly made law expanding the legal rights of patients, workers, criminal suspects, and prisoners. He has been called by one authority “the preeminent civil rights litigator in this region.”

A native of Montana, I came to Spokane to attend Gonzaga University as an undergraduate. As a skier, golfer, tennis player and eventually as a husband and father, I have learned what a great area we live in. My practice has grown and changed, from a general practice doing everything from real estate closings, adoptions and family law, to a very specialized practice, with experience in and emphasis on catastrophic injury, product liability, medical negligence and complex commercial litigation.. After more than 27 years of practice, I have had the opportunity to be in front of Judges in the State of Washington's District Court, Superior Court, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, as well as Idaho's District Court and the Supreme Court of Idaho. I have also appeared in numerous pre-litigation screening panels in Idaho, before the Washington Medical Quality Assurance Commission, and before a variety of Administrative Law Judges in cases involving allegations of safety violations, industrial injury and social security disability.. The increased use of mediation and arbitration during my career has also provided the opportunity to be an advocate in both arenas, as well as chances to act as both a mediator and an arbitrator. My clients get the highly qualified and deeply committed advocacy they deserve, every day.

When you are facing the most difficult time in your life--being accused, you need skilled advocates who have spent their whole lives preparing for the fight of your life.. Mr. Healy and our lawyers at Vindicate Law have a reputation for being the most prepared people in the courtroom. When literally everything you care about: family, freedom, livelihood and reputation are all on the line, you need a lawyer who will go to the ends of the earth and leave no stone unturned while preparing a defense that will convince the Jury to vindicate you and your life.. Police officers, women, children and others often have ulterior motives to lie and fabricate. The jury needs to understand this and understand why this happens. We are extremely skilled in getting juries to understand the how and why false allegations happen all the time. Police officers are specifically trained in how to manipulate the accused in to making false confessions and portraying innocent facts into sounding incriminating.. There are literally tens of thousands of innocent people in prison and most of the time they are there because their lawyer failed to thoroughly investigate was unprepared and unpersuasive and not skilled in the art of cross-examination.. Our lawyers have astounding success in the courtroom. To the point of jurors hugging and crying with the accused in the hallway of the courthouse after the "Not Guilty!" verdict. To the point of jurors sending a note to the judge asking of they can render a verdict against a police officer who fabricated testimony and slammed the accused's head against the car causing injury. These are the moments that our lawyers live for and achieve.. When naming our law firm we spent many, many hours and reviewed literally thousands of options, but chose Vindicate Law Group. According to Webster's Dictionary, "vindicate" is defined as, "to free from allegation or blame" and this is exactly our mission towards each and every client we proudly represent.. Practice Areas
