Allison King was born and raised in Richland, WA. She is a proud graduate of Richland High School, Columbia Basin College, and Washington State University where she graduated cum laude in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She then went on to Gonzaga University where she graduated with her law degree in 2004. Allison returned to the Tri-Cities to practice family law with Patricia Chvatal where she’s been since being admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2004. She practices family law, uncontested adoptions, Title 11 guardian at litem work, and simple estate planning.. Allison currently resides in Pasco, WA, with her three kids and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys the life of a busy parent shuffling children to and from activities and serving on the board of directors for both Benton Franklin Legal Aid and Safe Harbor Support Center.

Allyson concurrently earned Bachelor degrees in Broadcast Journalism and News Editorial from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010. From there, she relocated to the State of Oklahoma where she attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Allison Mahaney grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2004. After graduation, Allison went to work on the NOAA Ship Fairweather based out of Ketchikan, Alaska. On board the Fairweather, Allison served as an Officer of the Deck and managed hydrographic surveys to support the vessel’s nautical charting mission. At the end of her scheduled tour, Allison transferred to Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary where she served as Operations Coordinator from 2007 to 2010. While at the sanctuary, Allison enjoyed working on Washington's outer coast onboard the R/V Tatoosh. During their time in Port Angeles, she and her family loved life on the Olympic Peninsula and always hoped to return. After leaving NOAA, Allison attended law school at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. During her time there, Allison worked as an intern at the Port of Portland and the Eighth Coast Guard District Legal Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. Allison graduated from law school with a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. She and her family returned to Port Angeles in 2015 at which time she joined a local law firm as an associate attorney.
