Preston Miller grew up in Cullman, Alabama. He now lives in Birmingham with his wife. As a Beeson Scholar, Preston graduated from Samford University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Film. He graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2014 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2014.. Preston has long held an interest in fighting for the rights of hard-working Alabamians. Before attending Cumberland, Preston served for over a year as a Regional Coordinator with Impact Alabama through the AmeriCorps VISTA program.
