I was elected by my peers as President of the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), a 2,300 member plaintiff's lawyer association, for 2009-2010, after serving on the WSTLA/WSAJ Board for 15 years.  As a WSAJ Board Member, I have served as chair of Legislative Affairs, Membership, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and on the Finance and Executive Committees of the Association.  I was also very involved in WSTLA/WSAJ's efforts to defeat both I-330 and R-67, via which big medicine/the insurance industry attempted to take away the rights of injured patients, individuals and families when they are injured by the wrongful or negligent acts of others.  I have been assisting injured people and their families now for more than 20 years.
